Is Education Training accredited?
Education Training is not an awarding body and does not accredit qualifications itself. It is an approved centre: the regulated awarding organisations below have approved Education Training to deliver and assess their qualifications, and every regulated qualification on this site is listed on a public register under its own qualification number.
How to check a qualification yourself
- Open the course page and find the qualification number in the facts panel (for example in the "Qualification no." row).
- Follow the register link next to it. Ofqual-regulated qualifications open on the Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications; EduQual qualifications open on the Qualifications Scotland (SQA Accreditation) register.
- Compare the title, level and credit value on the register with the course page. They are taken from the same awarding-body specification and re-checked nightly; if you ever find a difference, tell admissions and we will correct the page.

Short courses are different
Our short courses are standalone online programmes. They end with a certificate of completion issued by Education Training; they are not regulated qualifications, carry no credits and do not appear on any register. Each short-course page says so in its "Who awards and delivers" section.
