How Education Training uses the details you give us

Who is responsible

Education Training (“Education Training”, “we”) is the data controller. Our registered address and contact details are shown below and on the contact page.

What we collect and why

• Online applications. Your name, title, email, phone, country, highest qualification, preferred start date and the course you applied for. We use these to assess eligibility, make an offer and enrol you. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.
• Brochure and course-details requests. Your email address, and optionally your name, phone number and country, plus the course you asked about and the page you were on. We use these to send what you requested and to follow up about that qualification. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you made.
• Contact messages. Name, email, phone and your message, used to answer you. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before any contract.
• Email verification. Before sending anything, we check that an address is deliverable using a verification service. The address is sent to that service for that purpose only.
• Site measurement. Anonymous page-view counts and, where enabled, Google Search Console and Analytics data. No advertising cookies are set.

Follow-up emails

If you request details of a qualification we may send a short series of follow-up emails about that qualification. These are limited to two emails in any seven-day period, are sent only on weekdays in UK working hours, and stop as soon as you apply or unsubscribe. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and the standard List-Unsubscribe header so your mail client can stop them too. Manage this at /unsubscribe using the link from any email.

Who we share data with

Processors acting on our instructions only: our email delivery provider (EU region), our email verification provider and our hosting provider. We do not sell data. If you enrol, your details are shared with the relevant awarding organisation — Qualifi, OTHM or EduQual — for learner registration and certification, as their regulations require.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted. Application and enrolment records are kept for the period the awarding body requires for certification and appeals. Unsubscribe requests are kept indefinitely as a suppression record so we do not email you again. Email delivery logs are kept for 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, erasure, or restriction, and you can object to follow-up emails at any time. Use the contact page; we respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The public site uses one strictly necessary cookie for form security. No analytics or advertising cookies are set without consent. The admin area uses a session cookie for staff sign-in only.
